Vacuum pump (hereinafter referred to as the pump) is a single-stage liquid ring device that is mainly used to pump gas and steam below atmospheric pressure. A impeller mounted on a shaft is eccentrically mounted in the cylindrical pump body and can rotate in it (see Figures 2.1a to 2.1d). The rotation of the impeller causes the working fluid to form a rotating liquid ring in the pump body, and the liquid ring pulsates between the two blades of the impeller, on the suction side, the liquid ring gradually moves away from the impeller hub, and the gas enters the pump axially through the suction port on the disc; On the exhaust side, the liquid ring gradually approaches the impeller hub, and the gas was compressed and axially exhausted through the exhaust port on the disc.
Note: The pump is suitable for pumping dry or humid gas without any dangerous situation. The premise is that the pump working fluid and the pumped gas are non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable and non-explosive, and pumps that can pump flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive media can also meet user requirements, but users must take appropriate safety precautions.
